Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka was born in Belarus in Minsk. The father of her Sergey (d. 2019) was an athlete in ice hockey. Aryna Sabalenka was born in Minsk on 5 May 1998. She holds 12 WTA titles in her career, including that of the Grand Slam of 2023 Australian Open. As a doubles specialist She also took home the US Open of 2019 as in addition to in the Australian Open of 2021 with Elise Mertens. The year she was born, she was the winner of both the WTA 1000 and Miami Open in Indian Wells with her Belgian teammate, and completed what is known as the Sunshine Double. Women's doubles only had four teams achieve this feat. The world's singles ranking rose yet again, reaching its top position in January 2023. In doubles however she pushed herself to the top of the list at the beginning of February that year after the victory in Melbourne becoming thus the second tennis player born in Belarus to achieve success in this specialty. Dmitry Tursunov was her coach throughout 2018, up until the end of her season in 2019, and also for a short time at the start of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann was the coach for her from the month of August through September 2020. As of the year 2020's end, she's been trained by her coach, Antonio Dubrov. Serena Williams & Maria Sharapova are her main inspirations.
